Blog: How am i doing

 Over thanksgiving break i did not record but i did continue to gather more ideas for my music video. I realized that instead of my whole video being inside of my home i should also make my video in other areas. For instance, i will record in areas that i feel attracted to the emotions that were felt. The overall video is based off an unimaginable feeling that the artist gets from a significant other taking the artist in all these joyful places that she imagines whenever she thinks of that significant other. Correlating that i believe my video can have a better outcome. As well as interact more with the artist. My ideas did get changed also when it comes to hairstyles and costumes. At first i was considering having different hairstyles for each scene. But when I realized that its a daydream of the artist she should continue to keep her natural look. For costumes i realized if i'm going to add different locations, the artist have to wear the right attire for that. Meaning more costumes, and more color coordination. I'm still debating if i should add the someone special inside the video, but then that takes away from the mystery. Technically i don't have a film to edit but i was able to edit ideas to make my overall piece better. This works out for me because by adding more to my scene it wont be boring and uninteresting. It shows more for what the lyrics are telling. At first i was thinking maybe doing to much would hurt my video. But, as long as i portion everything correctly, i think it will all come together. I do plan on adding a skit to the beginning of the song to show something different  and make the video come more to life.

Genre Research: Queen And Slim

 Q ueen and Slim is another great movie. It gives off a different version of Bonnie and Clyde. The movie tells about two young adults, male and female, being on the run for the murder of a police officer after being pulled over one night. The two were at first, on a regular date getting to know each other and as they are on the way home, they are stopped by a white male police officer and was gunned down by him when he shot the female. After that the man shot the police officer and then they fled the scene and that's how their story begins. This movie is a great movie to put into the drama section. There are so many dramatic scenes in this movies from the beginning to the end. The scenes that had all of the action and heartfelt parts in it carried the movie the way it was supposed to be carried. Production Blog: We pick Sunday!!!

 After enough decision making our group finally came to a conclusion on what and how everything we get done. Due to the fact we haven't recorded our final film, we are still throughout the second portion of our project. We will be recording this Sunday. Leading us to the finish line and being almost done. By then everybody in the group should have their individual clips filmed. While also remembering all parts accordingly. Leading us to not have as many mistakes and dealings pushing forward with the film process. Doing it this way will give us a great amount of editing time, allowing us to turn in the film by Thursday at the latest. Every group member participates throughout the film at least at some given point. My partner Aniya Smith is kilt off through the first part of the scene due to her suicide.
