In Home Filming

 In the past few days i have been filming my in home part of my music video. I'm not finish but it did turn out to be a little fun. I will be filming my other location projects this weekend. While filming in home it was just my mother and I so she helped guide me. Her recommendations turned out to be very useful and helpful. We did get into some quarrels, but hey that's mother, daughter love. I was able to be myself and for once it felt good. Singing to the top of my lungs, and having fun with different props. I realized i cant sing at all compared to Becky G but it felt good expressing emotion the way she did. My mother was questioning me to why i was so in to the song and asking who i like that much to be singing that loud, but i just laughed. Filming was fun. I used angles that were unique. While i also tried to get the best angles with the best lighting. There was times we had to retake videos due to distraction or just bloopers in general. When it came to filming it didn't take that much work, just be yourself and have fun. I did mess up the lyrics of course and sometimes my mouth wasn't moving as wide as it was supposed to. Either my lips made me look like i was mumbling or i was screaming to loud very unnecessarily. Even though i did go through many takes of re shooting, I'm excited to do my other locations next. Hopefully leading more ideas to come to me and think more out the box to recording my music video.

Genre Research: Queen And Slim

 Q ueen and Slim is another great movie. It gives off a different version of Bonnie and Clyde. The movie tells about two young adults, male and female, being on the run for the murder of a police officer after being pulled over one night. The two were at first, on a regular date getting to know each other and as they are on the way home, they are stopped by a white male police officer and was gunned down by him when he shot the female. After that the man shot the police officer and then they fled the scene and that's how their story begins. This movie is a great movie to put into the drama section. There are so many dramatic scenes in this movies from the beginning to the end. The scenes that had all of the action and heartfelt parts in it carried the movie the way it was supposed to be carried. Production Blog: We pick Sunday!!!

 After enough decision making our group finally came to a conclusion on what and how everything we get done. Due to the fact we haven't recorded our final film, we are still throughout the second portion of our project. We will be recording this Sunday. Leading us to the finish line and being almost done. By then everybody in the group should have their individual clips filmed. While also remembering all parts accordingly. Leading us to not have as many mistakes and dealings pushing forward with the film process. Doing it this way will give us a great amount of editing time, allowing us to turn in the film by Thursday at the latest. Every group member participates throughout the film at least at some given point. My partner Aniya Smith is kilt off through the first part of the scene due to her suicide.
