Intro and Group Blog


 Hello My name is Ryeyauni Bush. I am in the 11th grade and a proud student that attends Fort Lauderdale High school. I am an African American Teen, who in her free time enjoys playing sports, and finding a way to make money. I was born and raised in Broward county, Florida, but my ethnicity is Jamaican, American, Indian, Cuban and the list goes on. For the final task i will be working in a group project with two beautiful highly educated women. Aniya Smith who is in fact a junior just like me, and Maiyah Dukes, an underclassmen attending her sophomore year. I chose to do this project with them because I've known them since high school began and there apart of the people who made my high school experience great. I'm not really fond of group projects but it's important that ideas that may not be able to be accommodated by you, could be accommodated by others. My partners are very open minded and are full of ideas, and for this project to play the important role that it does, we need to think big and intake the advice provided amongst one another. Team work goes a long way and doing so with these beautiful ladies could help create an amazing finishing piece. We click together as one so there is always positive vibes and more than anything we all want to pass, and together we believe we shall do just that.

Genre Research: Queen And Slim

 Q ueen and Slim is another great movie. It gives off a different version of Bonnie and Clyde. The movie tells about two young adults, male and female, being on the run for the murder of a police officer after being pulled over one night. The two were at first, on a regular date getting to know each other and as they are on the way home, they are stopped by a white male police officer and was gunned down by him when he shot the female. After that the man shot the police officer and then they fled the scene and that's how their story begins. This movie is a great movie to put into the drama section. There are so many dramatic scenes in this movies from the beginning to the end. The scenes that had all of the action and heartfelt parts in it carried the movie the way it was supposed to be carried. Production Blog: We pick Sunday!!!

 After enough decision making our group finally came to a conclusion on what and how everything we get done. Due to the fact we haven't recorded our final film, we are still throughout the second portion of our project. We will be recording this Sunday. Leading us to the finish line and being almost done. By then everybody in the group should have their individual clips filmed. While also remembering all parts accordingly. Leading us to not have as many mistakes and dealings pushing forward with the film process. Doing it this way will give us a great amount of editing time, allowing us to turn in the film by Thursday at the latest. Every group member participates throughout the film at least at some given point. My partner Aniya Smith is kilt off through the first part of the scene due to her suicide.
