Production blog: Where are we?
Within My groups final task, I would say we are making progress but at the same time we have been indecisive with whom will carry what role in our project. The most important thing, is that everyone in our group does hold a major part in the overall task and is talented enough to produce a great outcome within our piece. The plot all together of how we want our task to be rendered has been thoroughly discussed and agreed upon. But, now it is time to bring it to live feed and put everyone's action into play. Doing this shall not be hard but it can bring altercations if it is not done right. In all honesty my group really hasn't started filming because of this. When it comes to a piece as such its easy to overlook ones ability causing the whole entire project to not come together as it should have. When it comes to choosing these roles my group and i have chose to observe each ones talent and see where they can help and what they can produce. So technically the route were taking is a little different from others. Luckily for us we are fortunate to have a musician on our team, an ethical broadcaster, and all emotional carriers who can reveal and elaborate our plot the way it should be. If nothing else my group is trying to focus on roleplay and the accurate formality behind it. For instance if someone in the group is in charge of Broadcasting, we are insuring that whomever will take that job will do it accordingly. Capturing the perfect angles of the subjects. Enhancing lighting and justifying when needed. Positioning the subjects and the camera in the right spots so that they intertwine and correlate. Most importantly putting the effort needed to make the piece come together and in reality just make simple sense. Just like the music, the person in charge, When it comes to the music and sounds behind a scene we have to make sure it isn't overbearing to the point you cant hear the characters. While also making sure the melody and descriptive tone in the music congregates and adjusts to the scene and the audience the way it is supposed to. Making a movie isn't something you can just do on a fly and just put together, you can have a mixture of fun but the thought process behind it has to be looked at every step of the way. Even down to the characters, emotions have to click. Words speak a lot but actions will always beat it, and that's what my group have drilled into each other minds. Everybody's part is important and everyone has to take initiative to get tis task complete. As a group we will have our difficulties but we are coming
a long and we are taking the steps to do that.
