Title Research: Cyberbullying


 What titles are displayed during the opening sequence? In the opening sequence, the name "cyberbully" is displayed. Cyberbully is the name of the movie. After the name of the movie is displayed, the names of the cast and crew appear one by one. 


What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? In the opening scene, images of technology appear. First a computer appears then a phone. Images of messages on the devices between people also appear. First messages are on a social app while the others are in the message apps.

What connotations do these images carry?  The images of the computer and phone suggest that the movie will have something to do with technology. The images of the messages on the social app suggest that the movie will have something to do with social media. The images of the messages in the app suggest that messages will play a pat in the plot.

How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset? The film establishes a feeling of the genre from the start because it expresses what the movie will be about through the first title they show which is the name of the movie. The images used also help better communicate the genre. 

What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience? The strategies used to make sure the film appeals to their target audience are including social media and basing it on a teen. Having some of the movie take place at a school is also a strategy used. 

How has technology been used effectively? Technology has been used effectively by bringing light to a serious topic. This movie is about someone being cyberbullies and having technology in it helps communicate that. Technology has also been used effectively because it made the movie come together in order to deliver a certain message.

Genre Research: Queen And Slim

 Q ueen and Slim is another great movie. It gives off a different version of Bonnie and Clyde. The movie tells about two young adults, male and female, being on the run for the murder of a police officer after being pulled over one night. The two were at first, on a regular date getting to know each other and as they are on the way home, they are stopped by a white male police officer and was gunned down by him when he shot the female. After that the man shot the police officer and then they fled the scene and that's how their story begins. This movie is a great movie to put into the drama section. There are so many dramatic scenes in this movies from the beginning to the end. The scenes that had all of the action and heartfelt parts in it carried the movie the way it was supposed to be carried. Production Blog: We pick Sunday!!!

 After enough decision making our group finally came to a conclusion on what and how everything we get done. Due to the fact we haven't recorded our final film, we are still throughout the second portion of our project. We will be recording this Sunday. Leading us to the finish line and being almost done. By then everybody in the group should have their individual clips filmed. While also remembering all parts accordingly. Leading us to not have as many mistakes and dealings pushing forward with the film process. Doing it this way will give us a great amount of editing time, allowing us to turn in the film by Thursday at the latest.
