  1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? My product conducts a version of reality when it comes to expressing emotion and socially connecting with people and their internal feelings. It may not just automatically scream out just a verbal connection, but if you keep listening eventually to all those feelings that you feel, you will understand that others feel it too. When it comes to emotions and feelings, it's not well expressed due to social anxiety of what others may think and the judgement you get behind it. But what is failed to realize is that, what makes up a human is your emotions, something that everyone has and you should feel no shame to express. Being that we stay in such a judgmental world, its hard to know who someone truly is. Usually the term "two-faced" only was acknowledged to people who would be shady, and feel a complete opposite way of how they are actually acting towards someone. But that term has wide spread, because if you ask me, everyone is "two-faced". Not in a bad way but the intimidation of others opinions has honestly made everyone turn to that point. Finding someone who is true to themselves is very hard these days, because everyone is hiding something. Whether being for good reasons or bad, but the embarrassment some things can hold on people for what they express, how they act, or what they do, it takes a huge toll all over the world. This is a huge issue because everyone has their own personality, feelings, likes, and dislikes that each makes us unique. Everyone was made different for a reason, that is not something that should be hidden but something that should be sprouted and fully rooted from each and every person on earth. The song "Shower" by Becky G might have been just lyrics with a chorus and a beat to some, but getting a chance to express emotions that others may feel embarrassed to have, is probably one of the greatest opportunities ever given. I'm a victim of one of them, and I'm pretty sure there are many more out there. A song that presents something that can come off as informality, to something that brings comfort and understanding.

2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text? My product Engages with the audience by expressing emotion throughout the video. Letting others know that if you have those feelings that overpower you when it comes to your significant other it's okay, because you're not alone. The audience should feel comfortable with the video and the lyrics because it's something that everyone can relate to. Sometimes people shadow in the dark how they truly feel. Even away from a significant other, just in general, regardless your feelings should be allowed to be thoroughly expressed without you questioning it or second guessing. But that's not reality. Some people shadow their feelings and some people protect them. I myself am a victim of having too much pride. Depending on how you were raised or who you were around at such a young age, sometimes letting out how you feel, or who you are brings pain. Scared of who will take advantage of you. Not trusting a soul because deep down inside you feel as though no one really cares. Feeling as though people will manipulate you by accusing you of being someone you're not. In disguise of so many assumptions you become someone that you never imagined in a million years you will be, forcing you to hide who you are, sometimes forever. But that's the thing, you can move away from the embarrassment, you can go far away from the pain. Just by being careful with who you express your inner self with, while protecting your inner being as well. But not hiding it. You express those feelings that you hold and the emotions you share, you make them powerful and you shield them. Don't let others break them. The song I chose acknowledges that. The way society is, it can come off as weird. People will judge you for years if you express who you truly are but it takes that one person to turn the tables. Yourself. One thing you will understand if you really listen to the song, it's okay to express who you are and your emotions. Never hide who you are and how you feel.

   3. How did your production skills develop throughout this project? If nothing else in this project I learned how to be creative and when it comes to using different lighting effects they really can correlate with what you have on and the scenery. But more than anything I learned to improvise. Even when short on something or someone you still have to present your best and that's what I did. When it comes to capturing the right angles, and even having good lighting, what is not presented to you, you create it on your own. I understand that there are a lot of factors that play a huge role in production skills. First and foremost planning is probably the most important. You don't just plan for one perfect video you have to plan for mistakes, mishaps, interruptions, and any altercation that you may have come in contact with. When it comes to production making sure your colors coordinate, your lighting is on point, and your scene aligns with the lyrics is also very important. I ended up learning that the hard way. Illustration is key, and when making a music video you have to have a vision that is widespread all over. Ideas coming left and right. Your product has to engage the audience as well as speak out to them. Making them hear you, understand you, wanting to listen to more. Making sure your artist is in the center of the spotlight looking beautiful from all angles. Lighting sparkles their skin, and everything is visually appealing. At first when i was producing my commercial i didn't really take into details on what is really to expect, but after some time i realized details are key. Even if you don't think they matter they do. Either making or breaking your video.

4. How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?

I used different effects of cartoon edits. Also using black and white when i felt as if it was needed. When it came to overlaying videos I had to speed up another scene, while slowing down another for it to make sense and come together. I used IMovie as an edit tool to conjunct all my videos together. For the scenes that needed lighting or had too much lighting I had to adjust brightness and contrast. As well as using crop tools and adjusting images for clearer quality.  Without the technology i used i wouldn't have had a quality piece to present. I dont have the best camera in the world, so I had to once again improvise and make it work. I included the graphics because I felt as though it was something different, unique and eye catching. Whether your change in scenery is from edits or real life, sometimes that's a key way to grasp your audience's attention. In my production skills that I have learned I spoke that lighting was a key development as well to my artist, so that’s what I used. I had some lighting in my home but there's always room to make it better. With editing I enhanced it and I tried to make sure the artist skin was glistening as well. The artist is your spotlight, if they go wrong the whole video goes wrong. I used software to cut and edit, and to make my video to make since. In other words, thats all I really relied on was my software. My video came out great because of it and i'm happy to present it.
