Planning Blog: Location, Participants, and Schedule
This new project requires a lot. This time, the main goal of this final task is to make a movie film. The movie film will be about a suicide that happened because of the stress of online school. Since online school has impacted kids across the United States, my group and I thought it would be a great idea to make a film about something that's going on in today's society.
The schedule that we set up for our project is very time manageable for everyone in our group. Some of the participants in our film has jobs and other things to do so we made a schedule that will be able to fit everybody.
Schedule:
2/28/21 - 3/8/21: We will start brainstorming ideas about where the setting is, cast and what the film is truly going to be about. We will make a schedule of who will be available and what times. We will choose extras of who we want to be in our video and make sure that their availability matches ours. We will then begin brainstorming about different settings and where we want to film the different clips of the film. For this we will make sure that the locations are local so that we all can get there with no problem.
3/9/21 - 3/11/21: During this time period, we will do the rest of the brainstorming and figure out everything we want in our film.
3/13/21 -3/17/21: We will do all of are filming during these four days. We will go to the different settings and we will make sure that we record everything that needs to be recorded so that we can officially start the editing process.
3/18/21: One of the group members will spend this day editing our video and putting it together.
Location:
For the location, we all want to make sure that we go places that are local and near all of us. So for that, we have chose one of our homes and a park so far. The home setting will be the "reason setting" of the film. This setting starts everything and it will be the first setting that the audience sees. The park scene is another important scene that we will use later in the film.
Participants:
For this film, there shouldn't be no more than 20 participants. The main cast of the film will be the four of us that is in a group and for any other scene the participants will be backups and extras.

Health and Safety:
Because of being in a global pandemic, we need to make sure that each and every participant is well and good enough to work. So before filming we will do the normal safety standard such as check temperatures and when everyone temperature is average, then we will begin working. We will make sure that each location is in a safe place where we all can get a good view so that the audience sees clearly. We will provide supervision so that we aren't at different locations alone. If anyone is to get hurt which they probably wont, we will provide a first aid kit or call the police since we all have smart devices.
