Filming Blog: My home

 In this commercial, My mom was the filming director, while i was the actor and editor. When Filming at my house I had to make sure it was clear to get the product that I am advertising. Making sure my room was clean and clear of all other name branded products. The same goes for the bathroom as well.  The first scene was filmed in my bedroom, while the next scene was filmed in my bathroom. I made sure to obtain plenty of Listerine products so you would understand what i was advertising clearly. Other props were featured to make the commercial standout well, and gain the audiences attention. Help making sure the commercial gets its point across. Throughout the commercial the overall perspective is to see how Listerine helped me build my confidence from not having the energy for getting up and starting my day, but once i felt the freshness and the cleansing in my stank morning breath mouth, i developed confidence and my spirit became more uplifting. My hair changed. My outfit changed. Lighting Increased. You can see the development and the inspirational feeling fill the air. My Mom helped me film throughout the whole shoot. She took shots from certain angle points, so you can understand how i felt and how i interacted with the camera. Expressing emotion and giving the audience a one on one connection with me. It took about 2 hours to really get all of the film i needed. Making sure everything was appropriate for my viewers and overall i was able to produce a good commercial.
