Production Blog: Unfortunately....

Sadly our plan to Film over the weekend went left due to my behalf. The plan was for me to un attend work so I could participate in the film but unfortunately, my job did not agree with that option. We were short-staffed and they really needed me to come into work. I did apologize to my group for that inconvenience. But, we were able to resolve and come together as a group for another solution to record during the week. As a group, we did realize that maybe we should have scheduled earlier the week before to get things like this done in case of situations like these but we will overcome it and push forward. At first, I felt bad because my team was counting on me. But they let me know that it was okay, and they had plans that kind of interfered as well, so it kinda made me feel better. Even though this issue occurred, we found other solutions that were beneficial to everyone.  Our storyline is still kept the same. But in addition to that, we realized that we have to meet up sometime during this week before the deadline arrives. Roy and I both attend the track and have a very important Districts meeting tomorrow. So filming wouldn't be possible and would have to be postponed until Wednesday. Giving us just enough time to edit accordingly. Allowing us to fix any mistakes that we feel need to be corrected or refilmed. Turning in our project at the last minute is something my group and I are trying to avoid. At any given moment when turning in projects as important as such, especially at the last minute a lot of things tend to go wrong. Avoiding that, regardless of how many altercations we face we get around them and find alternatives that satisfy everyone. While also most importantly making sure it gets our project turned in on time. In times like this improvising is key, and when you have an understanding team who are willing to get the job done instead of a lot of lefts you have a good amount of rights.
